A New Paradigm of Metaphor Consolidation in Chinese Digital Education Based on MIPVU Identification Procedure

In the context of the current metaphor research shifting from the theoretical level to the analytical level and the methodological level, this paper intends to construct a new paradigm of metaphor analysis based on the mainstream metaphor analysis process proposed by domestic and foreign scholars, and with the help of the MIPVU metaphor identification procedure, take the keynote speech of Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng at the 2024 World Digital Education Conference as the corpus, and explore the digital education metaphors that appear in it in multiple dimensions. The study shows that this paradigm starts from the essential attributes of metaphor, and unfolds from the four attributes of language, cognition, pragmatics and society and the multiple dimensions involved in each, clearly analyzing China's digital education ideas, education policies and education trends, and achieving its deep-level communicative purpose. This study not only helps to further understand and recognize the effectiveness of metaphors in conveying ideas and policies, unifying thoughts and consciousness, strengthening emotional ties, and serving the speaker's purpose in political discourse, but also broadens the perspective and dimension of metaphor research in political discourse, highlighting the value and potential of the latter.
在当前隐喻研究从理论层面向分析层面和方法论层面全面转向的背景下,本文拟基于国内外学者分别提出的主流隐喻分析流程,尝试性地构建起一套隐喻分析的盘整新范式,并借助MIPVU 隐喻甄别程序,以教育部部长怀进鹏2024 年世界数字教育大会上的主旨演讲为语料,多维探讨其中出现的数字教育隐喻。研究显示,该范式从隐喻的本质属性入手,从其语言、认知、语用和社会四个属性角度及各自涉及的多维度展开,明晰剖析中国的数字教育思想、教育政策和教育动向,达成其深层次的交际目的。此研究不仅有助于进一步理解和认识隐喻在政治话语中传达思想政策、统一思想意识、强化情感纽带、服务讲话者目的的功效,而且拓宽了政治话语中隐喻研究的视角和维度,凸显了后者的价值和潜质。
