절대안보관점에서 본 한국의 주변국 대응전략 구상: 중국 군사적 위협을 중심으로

Korea's Strategy for responding to neighboring countries base on the absolute security perspective : About the Chinese military threat

한반도의 지정학적 위치는 대륙세력과 해양세력이 충돌하는 교차점으로 불안정한 구조가 형성되어 있어서 그동안 남북한의 분단과 함께 항상 주변 강대국들의 위협에 동시에 노출되었다. 이러한 환경에서 대한민국은 우선적으로 현실주의에 입각한 절대안보 관점에서 생존과 안정을 추구하는 대응전략을 구상할 수밖에 없는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 북한을 제외한 주변 국가 중 분쟁 가능성이 가장 높은 중국을 중심으로 전략환경을 평가해보았고 이를 토대로 미중간 분쟁과 일중간 분쟁이 한국에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 한국의 대응방안을 제시하였다. 또한 한중간의 분쟁과 전쟁시 중국이 한반도에 군사적으로 개입하는 경우에 한국이 중국에 대항하여 직접적으로 군사력을 어떻게 운용할 것인가에 대한 대응개념을 구체화시켜 제시하였다.

The Republic of Korea has been paying a huge price because of the division of the Korean peninsula and threats from neighboring countries. This is because the geographical location of the Korean Peninsula was a point where continental and maritime powers collided. Therefore, the Republic of Korea must pay for national survival and prosperity with an absolute security perspective based on realism in international relations. In this context, we evaluated the strategic environment regarding China, which poses the greatest threat to the Republic of Korea. And if a Conflict breaks out between the United States and China, a Conflict could break out between Japan and China. In this case, we analyzed the impact on Korea and presented Korea's response plan. Additionally, a dispute may arise between Korea and China. and China could try military intervention on the Korean Peninsula when a war may break out between North and South Korea. In these cases, the concept of how to use the Korean military force against China force was described.
