This study focused on seafood export companies, aiming to examine the impact of SSCM on international food certification and export performance. Additionally, the study explored whether international food certification is a mediating factor between SSCM and export performance for seafood export companies. Based on the research findings, The study aims to provide academic insights into the relationships among SSCM, international food certification, and export performance within seafood export companies. Furthermore, the study aims to provide practical and policy implications regarding adopting SSCM and the importance of international food certification for these companies. This study derived academic insights and supplemented theoretical and empirical analyses from previous studies by examining the impact relationships among SSCM, international food certification, and export performance within South Korean seafood export companies. The empirical findings are anticipated to serve as practical insights for enhancing the competitiveness of seafood export companies, notably smaller or medium-sized enterprises. The data generated from the empirical analysis may contribute to making a policy contribution to establishing supportive measures for the numerous small and medium-sized seafood export companies.
