This study aims to create a curriculum that combines generative AI with special effects makeup and integrate it into major courses. This approach will help students enhance their special effects makeup skills, gain a deeper understanding of design processes, and explore the creative possibilities of AI image generation technology. Additionally, the curriculum will offer students hands-on experience with special effects makeup simulations and 3D modeling programs in VR environments for a more immersive learning experience. To evaluate the potential impact of this curriculum on the beauty industry, the study will examine students' motivation, engagement, satisfaction, and their experiences with the EdTech environment. The results showed that the generative AI and EdTech courses provided an outstanding sense of realism through VR simulations and were evaluated as offering a fresh and innovative experience. The findings confirm a high potential for practical application in the industry, highlighting the need to integrate EdTech into special effects makeup courses. It is anticipated that EduTech convergence courses, which blend generative AI with beauty major courses, will reveal significant learning outcomes and possibilities. These courses are expected to provide a foundation for developing talents with creative and integrative thinking, as well as problem-solving skills. Continued research and development of convergent curricula using digital technologies in beauty education will further support this goal.
