This study was conducted to develop a water breathing massage that relaxes the fascia and promotes the balance and activation of the autonomic nervous system by supplying water to gua sha therapy, and to measure its effects. For this purpose, the sympathetic nerve activity (Low Frequency), parasympathetic nerve activity (High Frequency), autonomic nervous system balance (LF/HF), mean pulse (Beats Per Minute), standard deviation of pulse (Standard Deviation of N-N Interval), and stress index were calculated before and after the experiment by dividing the experimental group and the control group. The changes in each group were compared. The results of the study confirmed that water breathing therapy massage was more effective in restoring the balance of the autonomic nerve, stabilizing the pulse, and reducing stress than simple rest. In particular, the effectiveness was proven by practically applying it in the actual massage field by utilizing the theoretical and academic foundations, such as acupoint stimulation, ion water, and gua sha therapy in various ways, and its developmental use in the field is expected. Through this, an effective massage alternative that not only alleviates physical imbalances and pain caused by modern people's wrong lifestyle patterns and habits but also induces recovery to a healthy and energetic life can be presented.
