인류의 해양활동이 증가함에 따라 해양폐기물로 발생하는 문제가 점차 심각해지는 추세이며, 그 중 침적폐기물로 인한 피해는 탐지가 힘들며 처리 비용 또한 크게 발생하기에, 해양폐기물을 탐지하는 방식의 강화와 그 처리 방법의 최적화가 필수적이다. 한반도의 해안별 침적폐기물 분포를 통해 한반도 일대의 침적폐기물 비율과 형태를 조사하였으며, 이를 기반으로 하여 스마트 기술을 접목하는 등의 효과적인 처리방식을 개발하는 것이 필요하며, 침적폐기물 자체를 관리 및 탐지하는 것 또한 중요하다.

As humans' marine activities increase, problems caused by marine waste tend to become increasingly serious, and among them, damage caused by deposited waste is difficult to detect and treatment costs are also high, so it is essential to strengthen the method of detecting marine waste and optimize the treatment method. The proportion and shape of deposited waste in the Korean Peninsula were investigated through the distribution of deposited waste by coast on the Korean Peninsula, and based on this, it is necessary to develop effective treatment methods such as incorporating smart technology, and it is also important to manage and detect deposited waste itself.
