A Study on revitalization method through analysis of architectural characteristics of urban regeneration hub facilities : Focused on sales and user numbers of urban regeneration hub facilities in Gyeongsangnamdo

This study aims to propose solutions to revitalize urban regeneration hub facilities by focusing on the physical environment of completed hub facilities(buildings) in Gyeongnam in relation to abandonment and unused issues of them. For the analysis of urban regeneration hub facilities, three factors were derived as physical environmental factors: spaces use, building scale, and location, and two factors were derived as revitalization criteria: total sales and number of users. Results of this study are as follows; The results of the physical environment element analysis and case study showed that spaces use and location factors had a significant impact on the revitalization of facilities, and in terms of scale, no significant correlation was found between total sales and number of users. In terms of facility use spaces, it was confirmed that when community spaces and business spaces(urban regeneration office centers) are integrated, they have a positive effect on total sales and the number of users. Among location factors, both centrality and accessibility have significant impacts, but accessibility was found to have a somewhat weaker.
