학생 진로 탐색에 기초한 실용음악과 교육과정 모형개발 - M대학을 중심으로

Development of Practical Music Major Curriculum Model Based on Student Career Exploration - Focusing on the case of M College

본 연구는 실용음악전공 대학생의 진로에 도움이 될 수 있는 교육과정 설계를 위한 모형 개발에 기초를 제공할 목적으로 이루어졌다. 이를 위해서 서울에 소재 한 요대학 실용음악과에 재학 중인 대학생을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고, SPSS 30.0 을 활용하여 t검정과 ANOVA를 실시하였다. 또한 음악산업의 업무 환경과 특성 등 을 반영한 교육과정 모형 설계를 위해 연주, 작곡, 음향, 뮤직비즈니스, 영상음악 분야에서 활동하고 있는 산업체 전문가를 대상으로 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과 산업체 전문가들은 진로활동에서 기술환경 변화와 음악 소비를 위한 플랫폼의 변화, 소비 트렌드 변화에 적응하기 위한 최신 기술의 습득이 중요하다고 하였지만, 학생들은 이와 별개로 음악 및 예술적 지향성을 중심으로 산업현장에서 필요한 직무역량과 차이가 나는 진로준비행동을 하고 있었다. 이러한 간극을 해소 하기 위해, 변화하는 시대에 적합한 실용음악 전문인으로 성장하기 위한 필수 직무 역량 교과목을 도출하였고, 산업현장에서의 중요도에 따라 교과목을 순차적으로 배열하는 모형을 제시하였다. K-POP이 지속적으로 세계적인 관심을 받기 위해서 는 실용음악 전문 교육기관의 교육과정에 대한 지속적인 연구와 함께 음악산업의 채용구조 개선과 문화예술산업 전반에 대한 정책적 지원이 요구된다.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic theories necessary for model development for curriculum design that can help college students majoring in practical music. To this end, data were collected for college students enrolled in the Department of Practical Music at M College in Seoul, and t-test and ANOVA were conducted using SPSS 30.0. In addition, interviews were conducted with industry experts working in the fields of performance, composition, sound, music business, and video music to design a curriculum model that reflects the work environment and characteristics of the music industry. As a result of analyzing the data, industry experts said that it is important to acquire the latest technology to adapt to changes in the technology environment, changes in platforms for music consumption, and changes in consumption trends in career activities, but apart from this, students were preparing for careers that were far from the job competencies required in the industrial field, focusing on music and artistic orientation. To address this gap, essential job competency courses were derived to grow into practical music professionals suitable for the changing times, and a model was presented to arrange the courses sequentially according to their importance in the industrial field. In order for K-POP to continue to receive global attention, it is necessary to improve the recruitment structure of the music industry and policy support for the overall culture and arts industry, along with continuous research on the curriculum of practical music education institutions.
