중소병원 간호사의 도덕적 민감성이 노인돌봄태도에 미치는 영향

Effects of Nurses' Moral Sensitivity on Attitudes toward Elderly Care in Small and Medium-sized Hospitals

본 연구는 중소병원 간호사의 도덕적 민감성이 노인돌봄태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. G시에 소재하는 5개 중소병원 간호부의 승인을 받은 후 125명의 간호사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson' correlation, stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 도덕적 민감성 평균점수는 7점 만점에 4.69점, 노인돌봄태도의 평균점수는 5.31점으로 나타났다. 연구 결과 도덕적 민감성의 하위영역 중 '환자중심간호', '전문적 책임', '갈등'에서 노인돌봄태도와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 나타났으며 노인돌봄태도에 대한 주요예측인자는 노인간호 선호와 전문적 책임의 도덕적 민감성으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 간호사의 도덕적 민감성을 향상시키기 위한 윤리교육의 중요성과 전문적 책임감 및 노인간호 선호도를 강화할 교육프로그램 개발의 필요성을 보여주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 중소병원 간호사의 노인대상자들에게 더 나은 돌봄을 제공할 방안을 모색하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

This study aims to investigate the impact of moral sensitivity on the attitudes towards elderly care among nurses working in small and medium-sized hospitals. After obtaining approval from the nursing departments of five hospitals located in City G, a survey was conducted with 125 nurses. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program, employing frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The findings revealed that the mean score for moral sensitivity was 4.69 out of 7, while the average score for attitudes toward elderly care was 5.31. The study results showed that among the subdomains of moral sensitivity, 'patient-centered care,' 'professional responsibility,' and 'conflict' had a significant positive correlation with attitudes toward elderly care. The main predictors of attitudes toward elderly care were identified as the preference for elderly nursing and moral sensitivity in the area of professional responsibility. This study highlights the importance of ethical education aimed at enhancing nurses' moral sensitivity, as well as the need for developing educational programs that reinforce ethical responsibility and a preference for elderly care. Consequently, the findings of this study can serve as foundational data for exploring strategies to provide better care for elderly patients by nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals.
