19세기 淸에서 간행된 조선 시문집

A collection of Joseon poems published in the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century

본고는 19세기 淸에서 간행된 조선 시문집에 대해 살핀 것이다. 18세기 후반 연행을 통한 조･청 문사 교류가 활발해 지면서 조선과 청나라의 문화･역사･문학에 대한 이해와 영향이 증진되었다. 양국의 문사가 상대방의 저작에 序跋을 써 주거나, 조선 문인이 청나라의 일류 학자･문인에게서 글과 비평, 글씨와 초상을 받는 일이 빈번하였다. 조선에서는 청 문사에게 증정할 것을 염두에 두고 저작을 간행하기도 하였는데, 19세기 洪奭周･徐有榘･南公轍 등의 사대부는 본인과 형제 및 父･祖의 저작을 직접 간행하여 교제가 있는 청나라 문사들에게 증정하였다. 또한 자신의 시문 및 先祖의 시문을 청나라 문단에 소개하고 중국에서 간행해 오는 일도 많아졌다. 19세기 후반에 이르면 청나라 문사의 저작을 조선에서 간행하는 사례도 등장하게 된다. 한국과 중국 쌍방의 교류는 양국(특히 조선)의 출판문화에 큰 영향을 끼쳐 새로운 출판문화의 양상을 띠게 되었다. 조선 문인의 문집을 중국에 기증하는 것뿐만 아니라 금석문 자료를 증정하는 일 또한 빈번해졌으며, 중국에도 널리 알려져 있던 금강산 관련 저작을 간행하고 증정하는 사례도 나타났다. 아울러 ‘(조선)叢書’･‘(조선)藝文志’･‘(조선)詩文選集’의 편찬 역시 청조 문사들의 적극적인 호응에 힘입어 더욱 활발해졌다.

This thesis examines the collection of Joseon poems published in the 19th century. In the late 18th century, exchanges of Joseon-the Qing Dynasty culture and literature through Joseon missions to Imperial China became active. Thus, the understanding and influence of culture, history, and literature in Joseon and the Qing were enhanced. Literary men from both countries often wrote preface or epilogue on the other's works, and Joseon writers often received writing, criticism, calligraphy, and portraits from top scholars and writers of the Qing Dynasty. In Joseon, works were published with the intention of presenting them to Qing writers. For example, in the 19th century, the Hong Seok Joo, Seo Yoo Gu, Nam Gong Chul published the works of themselves, brothers, father and grandfather and presented them to literary men of the Qing Dynasty. In addition, many people introduced their own poems and poems of forefathers to the literary world of the Qing Dynasty and published them in China. In the late 19th century, cases in which the works of Qing writers were published in Joseon also appeared. The exchange between Joseon and Qing greatly influenced the publishing culture of both countries (especially Joseon) and took on the form of a new publishing culture. Donating literary works of Joseon writers or presenting epigraph materials became more frequent. There were also cases of publishing and presenting works related to Geumgang Mountain, which were widely known in China. In addition, the compilation of Joseon's “collection of books”, “inventory” and “literal collection” became more active thanks to the active response of Qing writers.
