자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 의사소통능력 향상을 위한 디지털 치료제 중재에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰

A Systematic Review of Digital Therapeutic Interventions for Enhancing Communication Competence in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

본 연구는 디지털 치료제(DTx)가 자폐스펙트럼장애(ASD) 아동의 의사소통능력 향상에 미치는 효과를 체계적으로 고찰한 것이다. 2013년부터 2023년 사이에 출판된 국내외 문헌을 수집하여 분석하였으며, PICO-SD 기준에 부합하는 8편의 논문을 최종적으로 선정하였다. 분석 결과 DTx는 주로 애플리케이션 기반의 중재가 많았다. 수용 언어, 표현 언어 및 의사소통 능력에 미치는 영향과 관련하여 연구 간 일관된 효과를 확인하기는 어려웠다. 그러나 일부 연구에서는 중재군이 대조군에 비해 수용 언어, 표현 언어 및 의사소통능력에서 더 나은 수행을 보인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 DTx가 ASD 아동의 의사소통능력 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 가능성이 있으나 DTx의 효과를 보다 명확히 검증하기 위해서는 장기적이고 체계적인 연구가 지속되어야 함을 시사한다.

This study systematically reviewed the effects of digital therapeutics (DTx) on improving communication competence in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A comprehensive analysis was conducted on literature published both domestically and internationally from 2013 to 2023. Eight studies meeting the PICO-SD criteria were ultimately selected. The analysis revealed that DTx interventions were predominantly application-based. Consistent effects across studies on receptive language, expressive language, and communication competence were difficult to confirm. However, several studies have shown that intervention groups outperformed control groups in these areas. These findings suggest the potential of DTx to positively impact communication competence in children with ASD. Nevertheless, long-term systematic studies are required to confirm the effectiveness of DTx.
