프로젝트 관리자의 역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향: 관리효율의 매개효과를 중심으로

급변하는 경영환경 속에서 프로젝트 관리자의 역량과 효율적인 관리 프로세스의 활용은 기업성과 제고의 핵심 요인으로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 건설 및 엔지니어링 산업 종사자 475명을 대상으로 프로젝트 관리자의 역량과 관리효율이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 프로젝트 관리자의 역량은 기업성과와 관리효율 모두에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며 산업군에 따라 프로젝트 관리자의 역량과 기업성과, 관리효율 간의 관계 역시 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이는 프로젝트 수행 과정에서 관리자의 역량 강화와 효율적인 관리 프로세스 활용이 성과 개선에 있어 필수적인 요소임을 시사한다. 특히, 본 연구는 효율적인 관리 시스템의 구축을 통해 프로젝트의 지속 가능성을 확보하고 이를 기반으로 기업성과를 유지하며 개선하는 데 기여하고자 한다. 프로젝트 관리자의 역량은 프로젝트의 성공 여부를 결정하는 주요 요인으로 작용하며 산업군에 따라 요구되는 역량의 유형이 상이하게 나타날 수 있다. 이러한 차이는 관리 효율성 및 기업성과에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미치며 각 산업군별 특화된 프로젝트 관리전략의 필요성을 강조한다. 본 연구의 의의는 산업별 프로젝트 관리자의 역량이 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 심층적으로 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 보다 효과적이고 지속 가능한 프로젝트 관리 전략을 제시함으로써 기업들이 장기적인 성공을 도모할 수 있도록 지원하는 데 있다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 프로젝트 관리자의 역량과 기업성과 간의 관계를 체계적으로 규명하고 산업군별 맞춤형 프로젝트 관리전략을 제안함으로써 학문적, 실무적 가치를 제공할 것이다.
In a rapidly changing business environment, project managers' competency and efficient management processes are crucial for enhancing corporate performance. This study analyzed their impact on corporate performance and management efficiency, targeting 475 workers in the construction and engineering industries. The findings confirmed that project managers' capabilities significantly influence both corporate performance and management efficiency, with notable differences based on the industrial group. These results highlight the importance of strengthening managerial capabilities and implementing efficient management systems to ensure project sustainability and maintain corporate performance. The study underscores that the required capabilities of project managers vary by industry, directly and indirectly affecting performance. By analyzing these industry-specific impacts, the study provides insights for developing tailored project management strategies, ultimately supporting long-term corporate success. It offers both academic and practical value by clarifying these relationships and suggesting industry-specific management approaches.
