초록
인공지능 기술이 전반적인 산업 분야를 넘어 음악 예술계에도 큰 파급효과를 불러일으키고 있다. 음악 예술과 같이 인간의 창조적 손길을 타야 그 가치가 완성된다는 보수적 인식 속에서도 긍정과 혼돈이 양립하고 있다. 특히 2020년 교육부가 인공지능 교육의 중요성을 확장 시키면서 의무교육과 대학 교육 현장에 인공지능 교육과정과 관련 인프라의 구축이 강화되고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 음악 산업 분야에서 인간의 대체제가 아닌 음악 예술의 생산성 및 완성도를 높여주는 도구로써의 인공지능 음악교육으로 접근하여 이를 대학의 음악 교육과정에서 필요로 하는 효과적인 커리큘럼 개발과 기존의 교육방식으로부터 효율적인 전환에 관하여 연구를 진행하였다. 그러므로서 현재까지 상용화된 웹기반 유무료 서비스와 이미 구축된 음악교육 인프라를 적극 활용하여 최소한의 투자 대비 인공지능 음악교육 커리큘럼의 효과적 증진에 관한 시사점을 찾았고 인공지능 기술이 인간의 예술적 가치에 부합하는 도구로써의 가능성을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 인공지능 기술이 인간의 직업군 축소에 부정적 영향을 미치는 수단이 아닌 인간 본연의 가치를 상실하지 않으면서 인간의 신체적 감정적 한계를 넘어 음악 예술적 완성도를 크게 높일 수 있는 동력원이라는 관점에서 인공지능 음악교육 커리큘럼 구성의 중요성과 기존의 전통적인 실용음악 커리큘럼과의 접목에 관한 연구를 통해 음악산업계의 실무현장에서 요구되는 교육적 가치를 제시하고자 한다.
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is exerting significant influence not only across various industrial fields but also within the realm of musical arts. Despite the traditional perception that values in music and art are fully realized only through human creativity, AI has simultaneously introduced opportunities and challenges. Particularly since 2020, the Ministry of Education in Korea has emphasized the importance of AI education, leading to the reinforcement of AI curricula and infrastructure in both compulsory and higher education. This study approaches AI music education not as a replacement for human creativity but as a tool to enhance the productivity and quality of music artistry. It focuses on developing an effective curriculum tailored to the needs of university-level music education and facilitating a seamless transition from traditional teaching methods. Through the active utilization of existing web-based free and paid services, as well as pre-established music education infrastructure, the study identifies strategies for optimizing the AI music education curriculum with minimal investment. Moreover, it highlights the potential of AI as a tool that aligns with human artistic values. The findings suggest that AI can transcend human physical and emotional limitations, serving as a powerful resource to significantly enhance the artistic quality of music without undermining inherent human values. This research underscores the importance of integrating AI music education into traditional applied music curricula to address the practical educational demands of the music industry. By proposing a curriculum that bridges traditional and AI-driven approaches, this study aims to provide educational insights that meet the evolving needs of the field while preserving and augmenting the intrinsic artistic value of human creativity.
