간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 비판적 사고성향 및 의사소통능력이 환자안전역량에 미치는 영향

Influences of Nursing Professionalism, Critical Thinking Disposition and Communication on Patient Safety Competency among Undergraduate Nursing Students

본 연구의 목적은 간호전문직관, 비판적 사고성향 그리고 의사소통능력을 중심으로 간호대학생의 환자안전역량에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인을 조사하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 광주광역시에 소재한간호대학에 재학중인 간호대학생 132명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 통계 분석은 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여진행되었으며 기술통계분석, 독립표본 t 검정, ANOVA 분석, 상관관계 분석, 그리고 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 환자안전역량의 영향요인으로 간호전문직관(β=.28, p<.001), 비판적 사고성향(β =.21, p=.030), 의사소통능력(β=.24, p=.013), 3학년보다 4학년(β=.19, p=.008)이 환자안전역량에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 각 요인이 환자안전역량에 대해 설명하는 총 설명력은44.3%으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 간호대학생의 환자안전역량을 향상시키기 위한중재 프로그램 개발에 필요한 근거자료를 제시하였다는 의의가 있다. 향후 간호대학생의 환자안전역량형성을 증대하기 위해 간호대학생의 간호전문직관, 비판적 사고성향 및 의사소통능력을 증진할 수 있는체계적이고 다양한 교육프로그램 개발하고 확대하는 것을 제언한다.

This study aims to identify factors affecting patient safety competency, focusing on nursing students’ nursing professionalism, critical thinking disposition and communication. This study was conducted with 132 nursing students from a nursing university located in Gwangju. Descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, ANOVA analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS program. As a result of the study, nursing professionalism (β=.28, p<.001), critical thinking disposition (β=.21, p=.030), communication (β=.24, p=.013), and senior nursing students than junior nursing students (β=.19, p=.008) were found to have a statistically significant effect on patient safety competency. The total explanatory power was 44.3%. This study is significant as it provides evidence for developing intervention programs to enhance patient safety competency in nursing students. To enhance their patient safety competency, it is suggested to expand systematic and varied education programs focused on nursing professionalism, critical thinking disposition and communication.
