전기자동차 운송량 증가에 따른 카캐리어(PCTC) 선복공급 변화에 관한 연구

A Study on the Changes of PCTC Supply according to the Increase Transport of the Electric Vehicles

본 연구는 중국의 주도적 역할 및 글로벌 확산 추세가 뚜렷한 전기자동차 산업의 지속적인 성장을 배경으로 전기자동차 운송량 증가, 자동차 운반선(PCTC)의 안전한 전기차 해상 운송에 대한 수요가 PCTC의 선복공급 변화에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 이를 통해 한국 자동차 기업들이 최근 겪고 있는 자동차 운반선 수요 증가에 따른 운임 급등 문제에 대응하고, 글로벌 물류 네트워크 강화를 통한 물류 산업 경쟁력 강화에 대한 함의를 제공하고자 한다.

This study aims to analyze how the increase in electric vehicle transport volume and the demand for safe electric vehicle maritime transport by PCTC vessels affect the changes in the ship supply of car carriers (PCTC) against the backdrop of China’s leading role and the continued growth of the electric vehicle industry with a clear global expansion trend. Through this, it aims to provide implications for responding to the recent problem of rapid freight rate hikes due to the increase in demand for car carriers that Korean automobile companies are experiencing, and for strengthening the competitiveness of the logistics industry by strengthening the global logistics network.
