치위생(학)과 학생의 전문직업성과 셀프리더십이 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향

The Influence of Dental Hygiene Students' Professionalism and Self-Leadership on Career Attitude Maturity

본 연구는 치위생(학)과 학생의 전문직업성과 셀프리더십이 진로태도성숙에 미치는 영향을파악하여 학생들의 진로에 도움이 될 수 있는 근거자료로 제공하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상은 광주광역시 소재의 치위생(학)과 대학생 287명으로 전문직업성, 셀프리더십과 진로태도성숙에 대한 설문조사를 실시했다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18을 사용하여 Independent t-test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, regression analysis로 분석하였다. 연구결과 치위생(학)과 학생의 전문직업성, 셀프리더십과 진로태도성숙 사이에는 상관관계가 있었고, 진로태도성숙에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인은 진학동기, 공공봉사심, 목표설정, 자기비판이었다. 따라서, 치위생(학)과 학생의진로상담 시 전문직업성과 셀프리더십을 고려하여 보다 성숙하고 계획적인 진로결정을 할 수 있도록 도움을 제공하는 것이 필요할 것이다.

This study was conducted to identify the influence of dental hygiene students’ professionalism and self-leadership on their career attitude maturity and to provide basic data that can be helpful for students’ career paths. The subjects of the study were 287 Dental hygiene student in Gwang-ju Metropolitan City, and a survey on professionalism, self-leadership, and career attitude maturity was conducted. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18 using Independent t-test, One Way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a correlation between dental hygiene students' professionalism, self-leadership, and career attitude maturity, and factors that significantly influenced career attitude maturity were Motivation for going to college, public service spirit, goal setting, and self-criticism. Therefore, when providing career counseling to dental hygiene students, it will be necessary to provide assistance so that they can make more mature and planned career decisions by considering their professionalism and self-leadership.
