1인 가구 노인의 사회적 배제가 주관적 기대감에 미치는 영향 : 삶의 질의 매개효과 중심으로

Effect of Social Exclusion of the Elderly in Single-Person Households on Subjective Expectations : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Quality of Life

본 연구는 1인 가구 노인의 사회적 배제가 주관적 기대감에 미치는 영향 관계에서 삶의 질의매개효과를 검증하기 위해 연구를 진행하였다. 분석자료는 한국고용정보원(2022)의 ｢제9차 고령화연구패널조사｣ 자료를 사용하여 1인 가구 노인 1,006명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구결과를요약하여 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1인 가구 노인의 사회적 배제(고용, 건강, 소득, 사회활동참여)와 주관적 기대감의 하위요인인 생활수준기대의 영향을 분석한 결과, 건강 배제가 생활수준기대에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 1인 가구 노인의 사회적 배제(고용, 건강, 소득, 사회활동참여)와 주관적 기대감의 하위요인인 사회보장기대의 영향을 분석한 결과, 사회활동참여 배제가 사회보장기대에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 1인 가구 노인의 사회적 배제(고용, 건강, 소득, 사회활동참여)와 주관적 기대감의 하위요인인 사회상황기대의 영향을 분석한 결과,사회활동참여 배제가 사회상황기대에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 1인 가구 노인의사회적 배제와 주관적 기대감의 관계에서 삶의 질은 완전매개효과로 나타났다.

This study was conducted to verify the mediating effect of quality of life in therelationship between the social exclusion of the elderly in single-person households on subjective expectations. As for the analysis data, 1,006 elderly people from single-personhouseholds were selected as research subjects using ｢The 9th Aging Research Panel Survey｣of the Korea Employment Information Service(2022). The results of this study aresummarized as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the effects of social exclusion(employment, health, income, participation in social activities) and living standardexpectations, which are sub-factors of subjective expectations, it was found that healthexclusion had a negative effect on living standard expectations. Second, as a result ofanalyzing the effects of social exclusion (employment, health, income, participation in socialactivities) and social security expectations, which are sub-factors of subjective expectations, itwas found that exclusion of participation in social activities had a positive effect on socialsecurity expectations. Third, as a result of analyzing the effects of social exclusion(employment, health, income, participation in social activities) and social situationexpectations, which are sub-factors of subjective expectations, it was found that exclusion ofparticipation in social activities had a negative effect on social situation expectations. Fourth,in the relationship between social exclusion and subjective expectations of the elderly insingle-person households, the quality of life was found to be a complete mediating effect.
