동네환경이 지역안전도 인식에 미치는 영향 연구

Research on the Impact of Neighborhood Environment on Perceptions of Neighborhood Safety

이 연구는 서울시민의 지역안전도 인식에 동네환경이 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 목적으로 설정하였다. 2022 서울서베이 지역사회조사를 활용하였고 SPSS 29.0을 사용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 연구 분석결과 연령대별, 월평균 가구수입, 동네환경이 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 한편, 성별과 학력은 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 최근 우리사회에서 각 종 재해와 재난이 발생함에 따라 지역안전도 인식에 대한 관심이 커지고 있다. 동네환경은 일정 경계 내에서 삶을 공유하는 주민들의 일상적인 경험 및 관계 그리고 문화제 밀접하게 연관되어 있어 지역안전도 인식에 영향을 줄 것이다. 따라서 이 연구는 서울시민들의 동네환경에 따른 지역안전도 인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하고 지역안전도 인식을 높이기 위한 향후 연구와 정책들에 기초 연구자료로 쓰이는 것에 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to verify the influence of neighborhood environment on the perception of neighborhood safety among Seoul residents. The 2022 Seoul Survey Community Survey was used and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 29.0. The results of the study showed that age group, average monthly household income, and neighborhood environment were statistically significant. On the other hand, gender and education were not statistically significant. Recently, as various disasters and disasters have occurred in our society, there has been a growing interest in the perception of neighborhood safety. Neighborhood environment is closely related to the daily experiences, relationships, and cultural systems of residents who share their lives within a certain boundary, which will affect perceptions of neighborhood safety. Therefore, this study is significant in that it identifies how neighborhood environment affects perceptions of neighborhood safety among Seoul residents and serves as a basis for future research and policies to increase perceptions of neighborhood safety.
