지역기반 인재 양성을 위한 대학생의 교육만족도 및 진로지원 인식 분석 - K 대학의 사례를 중심으로

Analysis of University Students' Educational Satisfaction and Perception of Career Support for Fostering Local Talent-Based on the Case of K University

본 연구는 지방대학활성화사업을 운영중인 K 대학을 사례로 하여 진로 준비에 대한 대학의 지원 수준을 확인하고 대학생의 교육 만족도를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 K 대학 지방대학활성 화사업단 융합전공에 참여한 학생을 대상으로 교육과정과 학생지원에 대한 요구와 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통해 대학생의 진로계획을 확인하고 취업을 희망하는 학생을 대상으로 직업선택, 취업준비, 대학 학생지원의 3가지 영역에서 중요도를 확인하였다. 또한 교육과정, 교육내용, 교육시설 및 환경, 학생지원 및 행정서비스의 4가지 요인으로 나누어 교육만족도를 조사하고, 전공 계열, 학년, 성취도의 배경 변인별 교육 만족도 차이를 분석하여 대학생들의 학교에 대한 평가를 점검하였다. 이를 통해 지방 대학의 특성화와 지역대학 학생의 진로지원을 위해 대학이 무엇을 중점적으로 해야 할 것인지 확인하였다. 추가적으로 대학의 학생 지원 중요성을 시사하고 향후 지방 대학을 활성화하기 위한 방안에 대해서도 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the level of university support for career preparation and assess the educational satisfaction of university students, using K University as a case study, which participates in a Regional University Activation Project. To achieve this objective, a survey was conducted with students enrolled in the interdisciplinary major associated with K University's Regional University Activation Project. The survey investigated students' career plans and, for those seeking employment, analyzed the importance of three areas: job selection, career preparation, and university support. Furthermore, educational satisfaction was assessed across four domains: curriculum, educational content, facilities and environment, and student support and administrative services. Differences in educational satisfaction were examined based on background variables to gain insights into students' evaluations of their university experience. The findings highlighted key focus areas for universities to enhance the specialization of regional institutions and better support students' career preparation. Additionally, the study underlined the significance of student support and proposed strategies for the future revitalization of regional universities.
