성인학습자의 사회자본이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 - 노후준비관심도의 조절효과 분석

The Impact of Adult Learners' Social Capital in College Life Adaptation : The analysis of the moderating effect of interest in retirement preparation

본 연구는 성인학습자의 사회자본이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 노후준비에 관한 관심이 조절효과를 발휘하는지 규명하고자 계획되었다. 분석을 위해 부산광역시에 거주하는 일반 4년제 대학교 정규과정에 재학 중인 만30세 이상 65세 미만의 성인학습자 203명을 대상으로 사전 조사(poilt-test)를 실시한 후 일부 문항을 수정·보완하고, 2024년 09월 2일부터 09월 12일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 설문지 203부 중 부적합한 8부를 제외하고, 195부의 데이터가 분석되었고, SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 조사 결과, 대학생활적응과 노후준비관심도는 평균적으로 양호한 수준이었으나, 일부 학생들 간에는 개인별 차이가 있었다. 평균적으로 여성은 남성보다 노후준비에 더 많은 관심을 보였으며, 연령이 높아질수록 노후준비에 대한 관심이 낮은 경향을 나타냈다. 반대로 소득수준이 낮을수록 노후준비에 대한 관심이 높게 측정되었다. 특히 소득수준이 낮은 그룹에서 가장 높은 비율로 노후준비에 관한 관심을 보였다. 사회자본 측면에서 소득수준은 사회자본 형성에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 소득이 낮은 그룹에서는 사회자본 수준이 다소 낮은 경향을 보였다. 사회자본이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에서 사회자본은 대학생활적응에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 노후준비관심도는 사회자본과 대학생활적응의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 성인학습자의 대학생활적응에 있어 사회자본이 중요한 역할을 함을 의미한다. 이러한 연구를 토대로 성인학습자의 대학생활적응을 도모할 수 있는 몇 가지 방안을 제언하였다.

This study aimed to analyze the impact of adult learners' social capital on their university life adaptation and to investigate whether interest in retirement preparation moderates this relationship. For the analysis, a pre-test was conducted with 203 adult learners aged between 30 and 65, who were enrolled in regular programs at four-year universities in Busan, South Korea. After revising and supplementing some items based on the pre-test, data was collected between September 2 and September 12, 2024. Among the 203 questionnaires collected, 8 were deemed unsuitable, and 195 valid responses were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. The results showed that both university life adaptation and retirement preparation interest were generally at a satisfactory level, though there were individual differences. On average, women showed more interest in retirement preparation than men, and older individuals tended to show less interest in retirement planning. Conversely, those with lower incomes displayed higher levels of interest in retirement preparation, with the lowest-income group showing the highest interest. Regarding social capital, income level had a significant impact on its formation, and lower-income groups tended to have lower social capital levels. In terms of the impact of social capital on university life adaptation, social capital was found to have a significant influence, and retirement preparation interest moderated the relationship between social capital and university life adaptation. This suggests that social capital plays a critical role in adult learners' adaptation to university life. Based on these findings, several recommendations for improving adult learners' adaptation to university life were proposed.
