Classification of Clinical Nurses' Professionalism Types and Verification of Influencing Factors

목적 본 연구는 임상간호사의 간호전문직관의 잠재유형을 분류하고, 간호전문직관의 각 유형분류에 영향을 미치는 임상의사결정능력, 비판적 사고성향 및 환자안전지식의 영향관계를 검증할 목적으로 수행되었다. 방법 이를 위해 J도에 소재한 종합병원 간호사를 대상으로 2023년 9월 15일~10월 13일까지 편의표집한 173명의 자료로 간호전문직관의 잠재프로파일분석과 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 간호전문직관의 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 3개의 집단으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 간호전문직관의 잠재프로파일 집단 유형에 따른 업무 적극성, 업무 만족도, 임상의사결정능력, 비판적 사고성향 및 환자안전지식은 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 간호대학생의 간호전문직관의 잠재프로파일유형에 대해 일반적 특성, 임상의사결정능력, 비판적 사고성향 및 환자안전지식의 영향관계가 검증되었다. 결론 임상간호사의 간호전문직관을 증진시키기 위하여 간호교육에서 전략수립의 필요성을 제시하였다.

Objectives This study was conducted to classify the latent types of professional identity among clinical nurses and to examine the impact relationships of clinical decision-making ability, critical thinking disposition, and patient safety knowledge on each type of professional identity. Methods To this end, latent profile analysis and multinomial logistic regression analysis of nursing professional intuition were conducted on 173 nurses from general hospitals in J Province, convenience-sampled from September 15 to October 13, 2023. Results The results showed that: first, the latent profile analysis of professional identity identified three distinct groups. Second, there were differences in work proactivity, job satisfaction, clinical decision-making ability, critical thinking disposition, and patient safety knowledge according to the latent profile types of professional identity. Third, the impact relationships of general characteristics, clinical decision-making ability, critical thinking disposition, and patient safety knowledge on the latent profile types of professional identity among nursing students were examined. Conclusions Based on these findings, the study suggests the need for establishing educational strategies at universities to enhance the professional identity of nursing students.
