The public interest litigation system for the online protection of minors has become increasingly significant in the current internet environment. However, this system faces various challenges in its implementation, such as a lack of eligible plaintiffs, unclear legal definitions, and a limited scope of applicable cases. These issues have undermined the effectiveness of public interest litigation in safeguarding minors online. Therefore, it is crucial to analyze the challenges faced by this system and explore corresponding solutions to improve the legal framework and enhance the protection of minors in cyberspace. This study focuses on the practical difficulties of public interest litigation for minors' online protection and provides an in-depth analysis from multiple perspectives, including legislative improvement, clarification of the concept of public interest, strengthened social participation, and judicial guidance. It aims to build a more comprehensive system for minors' online protection and improve its overall effectiveness.
