This study analyzes the mechanism of children's social value formation education programs, focusing on the Canadian Roots of Empathy case. The program emphasizes enhancing children's emotional development and empathy to prevent violence and strengthen peaceful conflict resolution skills. Through secondary data analysis, the study systematically reviews the educational impact of the program and examines in-depth how children cultivate emotional stability and responsible social behavior. Additionally, it suggests implications for applying such programs in the Korean education system, highlighting the significance of emotional learning. The study discusses how educational approaches that foster emotional development and social responsibility can contribute to reducing social inequality and promoting community development.
