This study mainly discusses the diverse tea customs culture among different minority groups in eastern Yunnan provence. The purpose of this study is to compare the tea customs in East Yunnan and analyze the commonality and difference of tea culture customs of different minority groups. Whether the tea customs of eastern Yunnan are influenced by different national heritage, national integration and historical background reflects certain similarities, such as tea ceremony is widely used in hospitality and daily life, and the important role tea culture plays in social communication. At the same time, the tea customs of different minority groups are different because of their unique cultural traditions, economic and social background. Tea culture in Yunnan is not only a traditional life custom, but also an important carrier of regional cultural exchange and national integration. In exploring the similarities of Yunnan tea customs, the common characteristics of tea ceremony, the role of tea culture in social interaction and the inheritance of tea culture in family and community education are analyzed. In addition, this paper mainly adopts comparative research method, qualitative research method and field investigation method. Analysis of factors that contribute to differences in tea customs, including cultural integration and change, as well as differences in economic and social contexts. The research results show that the tea customs in eastern Yunnan province that are adapting and integrating into the diversified development of modern society while maintaining their own characteristics. Finally, the paper summarizes the conclusions of the study, points out the similarities, differences and limitations of tea customs culture in East Yunnan.
