This study aims to analyze the educational significance of service-learning activities based on cases conducted within educational settings. The research involved six students from the Department of Nursing at N University, and their experiences were qualitatively explored through weekly activity logs, reflection journals, and in-depth interviews. The analysis yielded the following results: First, the enhancement of self-awareness and self-efficacy through service-learning has facilitated students' learning and personal growth. Second, through their service-learning experiences, students have clearly defined their career goals and developed positive expectations for their professional growth based on these objectives. Third, volunteering at a community child center has heightened students' awareness of the importance of sharing, fostered a deeper interest in the community, and cultivated a strong sense of social responsibility. In conclusion, this study confirms that educationally oriented service learning is an effective approach that fosters personal growth among university students and enhances their perceptions of the community. These results are expected to serve as a foundational basis for designing service-learning activities that promote mutual development between learners and the community.
