연해주 한인사회 내 의병 인식 변화(1908~1910)

Change in Recognition of the Righteous Army in Primorye Korean society(1908~1910) : With a focus on the Haejo sinmun and Daedong gongbo

본 연구는 초기 국외 독립운동 중심지였던 러시아 연해주 한인사회 내 의병인식 변화 양상을 당시 발행되었던 ≪해조신문≫과 ≪대동공보≫ 기사로써 규명하고자 했다. 1908년 초 연해주 내 의병이 유입된 시기부터 국내진공작전 이전까지 한인사회 내 인식에 대해 ≪해조신문≫을 통해 분석했다. ≪해조신문≫은 1908년 2월부터 5월까지 총 225건의 의병 기사를 보도했는데, 내용적으로는 의병의 규모와일본군의 피해를 과장하고, 의병의 피해와 일본군의 규모는 축소하는 특징을보였다. 국내진공작전 실패 이후 의병 인식 변화 양상에 대해서는 ≪대동공보≫를통해 파악했다. ≪대동공보≫는 1910년 1월 정간 이전까지 총 89건의 의병 기사를 보도했는데 수치적으로 ≪해조신문≫에 비해 보도 빈도와 비중이 줄었을 뿐만 아니라 내용적으로도 의병의 피해, 군자금 집류에 관한 내용을 보도하는 등 변화된 양상을 보였다. 1910년 이후 연해주 한인사회 내 상황에 대해서는 ≪대동공보≫ 재간행 이후기사들을 통해 살펴보았다. 1910년 4월부터 9월까지 의병 기사 총 55건을 분석해 의병을 국권 회복을 위한 포용과 통합의 대상으로 인식했음을 밝혔다.

This study aims to investigate the changes in the perception of righteous army in the Korean community in the Russia, through articles published at the time. The time of the influx of righteous army in Primorye in early 1908, the perception of the Korean community was analyzed through Haejo sinmun . Haejo sinmun reported a total of 225 articles of righteous army from February to May 1908. After the failure of the domestic vacuum operation, the change in the perception of righteous army was identified through Daedong gongbo. Before January 1910, Daedong gongbo reported a total of 89 articles of righteous army. The situation in the Korean community since 1910 was examined through articles after the re-publication of Daedong gongbo. From April to September 1910, a total of 55 articles of righteous army were analyzed.
