Due to the increase in the pet lover population, the pet industry is showing remarkable growth every year. Accordingly, pet-related product stores, animal hospitals, and pet insurance are being launched. In line with this trend, pet-related departments in universities and collage are also continuously increasing. This paper deals with an efficient computer system that can be used in zoos operated by pet-related departments. Unlike the reality where chart programs for animal hospitals and mobile apps for pet management are actively being developed and released, there has been no program that can efficiently manage zoos operated by pet-related departments, and it was found through prior research that research and discussions related to this are very lacking. In this paper, we identified the operating facilities and operating status of the zoo at a collage and interviewed the field managers, who are students in charge of actual animal management, and the professors in charge of the overall management of the zoo, to derive requirements and propose a computer system that can efficiently manage the zoo. In this paper, we proposed a mobile app and a PC program, respectively, reflecting the characteristics of the field managers who move frequently and the overall managers who must monitor a lot of data clearly. In addition, the DB was designed to help in the systematic study of animal management. The system's composition, used tools, and implementation methods were described in relatively detail for non-computer experts.
