사회복지 전공 대학생들의 안전교육 필요성에 관한 조사

A Study on the Need for Safety Education of College Students Majoring in Social Welfare

본 연구는 사회복지 전공자들의 대상으로 학교 교육에 안전교육을 도입하기 위한 요구도 조사를 목적으로 진행되었다. 이를 위해 응답자들의 안전 및 사회복지 분야에 대한 인식을 조사하고 이를 바탕으로 안전교육의 필요성에 대한 조사를 하였다. 설문에 참여한 응답자는 2년제 과정 사회복지 분야 대학생 183명으로 대면조사를 진행하였다. 조사 결과 대학에서 진행된 안전교육은 학과 단위보다 대학 단위로 진행된 안전교육의 비중이 높게 나타났다. 안전교육이 일상생활에 도움이 된다는 항목에 대하여 5점 척도로 3.96 이상으로 평가 되었다. 사회복지 분야 교육에 안전교육의 필요성에 대하여는 4.36, 그리고 복지분야 업무수행에 안전 관련 지식이 필요하다는 인식에 4.37의 평가를 하였다. 필요한 안전교육으로는 응급처치 분야와 대인관계에서의 안전에 대한 교육이 필요하며, 교육의 형태는 교육 목적에 따른 혼합형을 선호하였다.

This study was conducted for the purpose of investigating the demand for introducing safety education into school education for social welfare majors. The respondents who participated in the survey conducted a face-to-face survey with 183 university students in the two-year social welfare field. As a result of the survey, the items that safety education is helpful in daily life were evaluated as 3.96 or higher on a 5-point scale. The necessity of safety education in social welfare education was evaluated at 4.36 and 4.37 for the recognition that safety-related knowledge was needed to perform welfare work. As for the necessary safety education, education on safety in the first aid field and interpersonal relationships is required, and the form of education preferred a mixed type according to the educational purpose.
