일개 전문대학 대학생의 NCS 직업기초능력 비교: 보건 계열 학과를 중심으로

Comparison of NCS Vocational Competency of College Students: Focusing on Department of Healthcare

본 연구는 보건 계열 대학생들의 NCS 직업기초능력 차이를 비교하여, 교육과정 개선을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 J 대학에 재학 중인 학생 865명의 학생이었으며, 표준화된 설문지를 통해 NCS 직업기초능력의 10개 영역을 평가하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들이 직업기초능력 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력, 정보능력, 수리능력, 조직이해능력에서 비보건계열 학생보다 높게 나타났으며. 특히 의사소통능력과 대인관계능력 간의 상관관계가 높게 나타났다. 이를 통하여 보건계열 학생들의 NCS 직업기초능력 기반 교육과정 개선 및 다양한 교수법 적용이 필요함을 시사하였다.

We study aimed to compare the NCS vocational competency between college students, providing foundational data for curriculum improvement. The study involved 865 students from J University, and the NCS vocational competencies were evaluated across ten domains using a standardized questionnaire. The results indicated that healthcare students scored higher than non-healthcare students in communication skills, interpersonal skills, information skills, numeracy skills, and organizational understanding. A strong correlation was observed between communication and interpersonal skills. These findings suggest that improvements in the NCS vocational competency-based curriculum for healthcare students, as well as the implementation of diverse teaching methods are necessary.
