청소년의 정서표현신념이 또래관계의 질에 미치는 영향: 자기방어적 양가성과 관계관여적 양가성의 매개효과

목적 본 연구에서는 청소년의 정서표현신념이 또래관계의 질에 영향을 미치는데 있어 정서표현양가성을 자기방어적 양가성과 관계관여적 양가성의 하위변인으로 나누어 이들 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 방법 충청북도 소재 중·고등학생 520명을 대상으로 정서표현신념 척도, 또래관계의 질 척도, 정서표현양가성 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 변인 간 관계 및 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 SPSS 29.0과 AMOS 22.0을 활용하여 구조방정식 모형 검증을 통해 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 청소년의 정서표현신념이 자기방어적 양가성, 또래관계의 질에 미치는 직접효과는 유의하였다. 청소년의 정서표현신념과 또래관계의 질 관계에서 자기방어적 양가성의 매개효과와 자기방어적 양가성과 관계관여적 양가성의 이중 매개효과 또한 유의하였다. 결론 청소년의 정서표현신념은 자기방어적 양가성과 관계관여적 양가성을 거쳐 또래관계의 질에 영향을 미친다. 청소년의 정서표현신념이 또래관계의 질에 미치는 영향에서 자기방어적 양가성이 단독으로 갖는 매개효과와 자기방어적 양가성과 관계관여적 양가성의 순차적 매개효과는 상이한 영향을 미친다. 이는 청소년의 또래관계의 질을 향상시키기 위해 정서표현 자체보다 정서표현의 기저에 있는 동기와 욕구를 살펴보아야 함을 시사한다.

Objectives In this study, in how adolescents' emotional expression beliefs affect the quality of peer relationships, emotional expression ambivalence was divided into sub-variables of self-defensive ambivalence and relationship involvement ambivalence and the structural relationship between them was analyzed. Methods For this purpose, a survey was conducted targeting 520 middle and high school students in Chungcheongbuk-do using the Emotion Expression Beliefs Scale, Peer Relationship Quality Scale, and Emotion Expression Ambivalence Scale. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effects between variables, analy sis was conducted through structural equation model verification using SPSS 29.0 and AMOS 22.0. Results The direct effects of adolescents' emotional expression beliefs, self-defensive ambivalence, and peer re lationship quality were significant. In the relationship between adolescents' emotional expression beliefs and the quality of peer relationships, the mediating effect of self-defensive ambivalence and the double mediating effects of self-defensive ambivalence and relationship-related ambivalence were also significant. Conclusions Adolescents' emotional expression beliefs affect the quality of peer relationships through self-de fensive ambivalence and relationship-involvement ambivalence. In the effect of adolescents' emotional ex pression beliefs on the quality of peer relationships, it was confirmed that the mediating effect of self-defensive ambivalence alone and the sequential mediating effects of self-defensive ambivalence and relational ambivalence had different effects on the quality of peer relationships. . This suggests that in order to improve the quality of ado lescents' peer relationships, the motivation and desire underlying emotional expression should be examined rath er than the emotional expression itself.
