사회연결망 분석을 활용한 해상교통흐름 분석

Analysis of Marine Traffic flow using Socical Network Analysis

선박의 항행에는 반드시 출발지와 목적지가 있다. 이러한 OD를 연결하면 선박 항적이 되며 대상해역의 교통흐름을 분석할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 해상교통흐름을 분석하기 위해 사회연결망 분석을 활용했다. 우리나라의 남해 연안 해상교통 흐름을 대상으로 사회연결망 분석을 수행하여, 교통흐름의 중심 지점을 도출했다. 본 연구는 밀집도 등의 정적인 교통량 분석이 아닌 동적인 측면에서 교통흐름을 분석한 것에 의의가 있다.

In maritime navigation, each vessel has a departure and a destination. Connecting these origin-destination (OD) pairs forms the vessel's trajectory, enabling an analysis of traffic flows in the area of interest. In this study, we applied social network analysis to examine maritime traffic flows. Focusing on the coastal waters of South Korea’s southern region, we identified key central points in the traffic flow using social network analysis. This study contributes by analyzing traffic flow from a dynamic perspective, rather than relying on static measures like density alone.
