자율운항선박 도입에 따른 해양경찰관 교육운영 개선 방안

A Research on Improvement of Korea Coast Guard training and operation in response to the Commercialization of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship

자율운항선박의 도입이 해양경찰의 임무와 교육 운영에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 교육 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 최근 해양 안전과 효율성을 높이기 위한 자율운항선박의 개발이 활발히 진행됨에 따라, 해양경찰의 역할도 변화가 요구된다. 이에 따라 기존의 교육 프로그램이 자율운항 기술과 관련된 지식 및 역량을 충분히 반영하지 못하는 문제가 발생될 것이다. 이 연구에서는 자율운항선박 기술의 특성과 임무 변화를 바탕으로, 해양경찰 교육 커리큘럼 개선 방안을 마련하고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해 해양경찰관의 전문성 향상과 해양 안전 강화에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of the introduction of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship on the Korea Coast Guard's mission and training operations, and based on this, suggest measures for improve training. Recently, as the development of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship to increase maritime safety and efficiency is actively progressing, the role of the Korea Coast Guard is also required to change. Accordingly, a problem will arise in which existing training programs do not sufficiently reflect knowledge and capabilities related to autonomous navigation technology. In this study, we seek to develop a plan to improve the Korea Coast Guard training curriculum based on the characteristics of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship technology and changes in mission. It is anticipated that this study will help improve the professionalism of Korea Coast Guard officers and strengthening maritime safety.
