머신러닝 기법을 활용한 장애인의 장애수용에 영향을 미치는 예측 변수 탐색

Exploring Predictive Variables Influencing the Disability Acceptance of Persons With Disabilities Using Machine Learning Techniques

연구목적 본 연구는 장애인의 장애수용정도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인을 탐색함으로써 장애인의 장애수용을탐색하고, 장애수용정도에 어떤 요인들이 영향을 미치는지를 분석하려고 한다. 연구방법 2022년 5차 장애인삶 패널조사의 장애인 4,520명을 대상으로 한국장애인개발원 조사자료를 분석에활용하려고 한다. 연구문제는 장애인의 장애수용정도를 예측하면서 가장 적합한 머신러닝 알고리즘은 무엇인지 찾아보고 장애인의 장애수용정도를 예측하면서 다양하게 적용된 머신러닝 분류모형의 예측성능을 비교하여가장 적합한 머신러닝 알고리즘은 무엇인가? 배깅을 통해 도출된 장애인의 장애수용정도에 영향을 미치는 주요변수는 무엇인가? 이다. 본 연구에 적용된 머신러닝 기법은 랜덤 포레스트(Random Forest), 배깅(Bagging), 엑스지부스트(XGBoost), K-최근접 이웃(KNN), 서포트 벡터 머신(SVM), 에이다 부스트(AdaBoost), 네이브베이즈(Naïve Bayes)를 사용하였고, 각 기법의 성능을 확인하기 위하여, Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1 Score, RMSE를 분석하였다. 연구결과 장애인의 장애수용정도에 가장 중요도가 높은 요인은 장애수용 및 변화 요인에 해당하는 자아존중감, 가족건강성으로 나타났고, 둘째, 29개 예측변수에서 장애수용 및 변화가 중요도 1, 2, 4위를 차지하여 가장큰 비중을 차지하였다. 셋째. 영역별 투입된 예측변수 수 대비 가장 높은 비율로 29개 예측변수에 포함된 요인은 장애수용 및 변화 요인으로 자아존중감, 가족건강성, 우울, 정서적 도움 및 지지를 받는 가족, 주변사람, 장애인의 사회참여가 포함되었다. 결론 연구결과를 바탕으로 결론, 논의 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

Purpose This study investigated the disability acceptance among individuals with disabilities by identifying the key factors influencing the degree of acceptance and analyzing these factors using machine learning techniques. Method Using data from the 2022 5th Disability Life Panel Survey (4,520 individuals) conducted by the Korea Disability Development Institute, this study compared machine learning models (e.g., Random Forest, Bagging, XGBoost, KNN, SVM, AdaBoost, Naïve Bayes) to predict acceptance levels. The performance metrics included accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score, and RMSE. The study also explored the main variables influencing disability acceptance, focusing on the results derived through bagging techniques. Results Self-esteem and family health were the most critical factors influencing acceptance of disability, ranking first, second, and fourth among the 29 predictors. Other significant factors included depression, emotional support, relationships with family and friends, and social participation. Conclusion Based on the findings, conclusions often come at last, discussion, suggestions for further research are presented.
