Developmental Study on the Design Principles of AI Digital Textbooks for Students With Physical Disabilities

연구목적 본 연구는 지체장애학생을 위한 AI 디지털교과서 설계 원리를 도출하고 그 타당성을 검증하는 것을목적으로 한다. 연구방법 설계·개발 연구 방법론에 따라 선행 문헌 분석, 설문조사 및 초점 집단 면담(FGI)을 통해 초기 설계원리를 개발하였으며, 이후 특수교육 및 교육공학 분야 전문가를 대상으로 타당도 평가를 실시하였다. 연구결과 초기에는 17개의 설계 원리와 37개의 상세 지침을 개발하였으며, 전문가 타당도 평가 결과를 반영하여 분석, 설계, 실행, 평가의 네 단계에 걸친 총 18개의 설계 원리와 45개의 상세 지침을 최종 개발하였다. 설계원리에는 지체장애학생의 물리적 접근성 보장, 학습 자료의 난이도 조정, 실시간 학습 과정 분석, 개별화 교육계획(IEP)과의 연계 등이 주된 내용으로 포함되었다. 결론 본 연구는 지체장애학생을 위한 AI 디지털교과서 설계 원리에 대해 다음과 같은 논의와 제언을 제시하였다: 1) 지체장애학생의 교육 진단 및 평가 과정에서 교사의 업무 부담 경감, 2) 진단·평가 결과와 학습 내용 및 활동 설계 간 환류 시스템 구축, 3) 학업 수행을 실시간으로 모니터링할 수 있는 구체적 평가 항목과 방법의 마련, 4) NEIS와 평가 결과 공유를 통한 IEP 작성 효율성 향상

Purpose This study aimed to derive and validate design principles for AI digital textbooks tailored for students with physical disabilities. Method Following the design and development research methodology, a preliminary set of design principles was developed through literature analysis, surveys, and focus group interviews (FGI). Subsequently, validity evaluations were conducted with experts in special education and educational technology. Results Initially, 17 design principles and 37 detailed guidelines were proposed. Based on expert validity evaluations, these were refined and expanded into 18 design principles and 45 detailed guidelines across four stages: analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. Conclusion This study discussed and proposed the following design principles for AI digital textbooks for students with physical disabilities: (a) reducing teachers’ workload in educational diagnosis and assessment, (b) establishing a feedback system linking diagnosis and assessment with the design of learning content and activities, (c) providing specific evaluation criteria and methods for real-time monitoring of academic performance, and (d) improving the efficiency of IEP preparation by integrating assessment results with NEIS.
