DOI : 10.17549/gbfr.2025.30.1.58

Purpose: This paper explores and discusses the factors influencing logistic management, particularly in the context of operational efficiency. Design/methodology/approach: The author used a qualitative method with several stages of data collection, namely exploration, root cause validation, and analysis. Data analysis uses the Relative Importance Index (RII) to find priorities from various factors that affect operations. Findings: Ten factors have the most influence on logistics competitiveness at PT. XYZ: Top Management Commitment, Collaboration, Training and Development, Technology Integration, Data Quality, Technological Infrastructure, Cost Competitive Strategy, Employee Motivation, Customer Satisfaction, and Reduction of Lead Time and Non-Value- Adding Activities. Top Management Commitment, Training and Development, and Collaboration are the most influ-ential factors with the highest RII scores, indicating the importance of top management, employee training, and inter-departmental collaboration to improve warehouse operational effectiveness. Research limitations/implications: This study's focus is limited to PT. XYZ. To provide a comprehensive analysis, future research should consider expanding the sample size, conducting cross-regional studies, exploring external factors such as global supply chain dynamics, and investigating the role of technology development in logistics. Originality/value: This paper finds Key Success Factors (KSF) for managing more effective logistics management.
