A Study on the Nature of Hamas Terror Attack and Israel's Responses in the Light of the Jewish Law

This study attempts to examine the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel from a slightly different perspective. It will focus on Hamas’ terrorist attack in 10. 7 and on Israel’s large-scale response to that. It will try to clarify the nature of Hamas attacks on Israel and analyze the logic of Israel, which declares to be a Jewish state, from the perspective of Jewish law. Israel’s responses are understood to be based on the logic of vendetta, redemption of captives. Hamas’ hostile policy toward Israel is ultimately understood to have the nature of racial Antisemitism. The question of Hezbollah in 10.7 Hamas attack and the perspective and logic of Hamas are open for further studies. By comparing the positions of both sides, we will be able to make better judgments and assessments of the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
