인구구조 고령화로 공적연금의 지속가능성이 위협받고 있는 상황에서 공적연금 일원화와 같은 근본적인 연금개혁의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2022년 사립학교 교직원실태조사를 활용하여 특수직연금 가입자 중 사학연금 가입자 특성별 공적연금 일원화와 관련한 인식을 살펴보았다. 분석 결과 노후 생활비 충족도와 국민연금 대비 특수직역연금의 혜택이 높다고 응답한 가입자일수록 공적연금 일원화에 반대하는 경향이 나타났다. 향후 공적연금 일원화 추진 과정에서 제도 간 형평성뿐만 아니라 특수직역연금 가입자의 노후 소득 다양화를 위한 구조적 연금개혁방안 마련이 필요하다.
As aging population threatens the sustainability of public pensions, fundamental pension reforms such as the unification of public pensions become increasingly necessary. Accordingly, this study used the 2022 Survey in the Status of Private School Teachers and Employees to examine perceptions related to the unification of public pensions by characteristics of Teachers' pension holders among special occupational pension holders. As a result of the analysis, members who responded that they were satisfied with retirement living expenses and that the special occpational pension's benefits were higher than the national pension tended to oppose unification of public pensions. In the future, in the process of unifying public pensions. it is necessary to prepare a structural pension reform plan to ensure fairness between pension systems and diversify the retirement income of special occupational pension holders.
