Development Direction of Small Unit Combat Training Under Synthetic Training Environment

합성훈련환경은 기존의 LVC훈련을 통합된 가상공간에서 수행할 수 있는 가상환경 공통플랫폼이다. 최근 미 육군은 합성훈련환경 플랫폼을 기반으로 기존의 사격훈련과 과업 훈련 등 소부대 전투훈련체계를 포함한 교육훈련 전반을 혁신하고 있다. 합성훈련환경 하 소부대 전투를 발전시키기 위해서는 먼저 교육공학과 교수학습이론에 의해 소부대 훈련의 과업을 새롭게 정립해야 하며, 합성훈련환경 플랫폼을 기반으로 훈련목적에 맞는 소부대 전투훈련체계를 개발해야 한다.

The synthetic training environment is a common virtual environment platform that can perform existing LVC training in an integrated virtual space. Recently, the U.S. Army is innovating its small unit combat training system, including existing shooting training and task training, based on a synthetic training environment platform. In order to develop small unit combat under a synthetic training environment, first, the tasks of small unit training must be newly established based on educational technology and teaching and learning theory, and a small unit combat training system that suits the training purpose must be developed based on the synthetic training environment platform.
