British Army's spearhead Unit and the Application of the Korea Army

대한민국 육군은 현재 Army-TIGER 라는 군사혁신을 통해 적보다 먼저보고, 먼저 결심하여, 먼저 타격하는 전투체계의 혁신을 도모하고 있다. 무인 전투체계를 통한 유·무인 복합전투체계를 통해 치명성과 비대칭성으로 전투에서 승리하는 개념이다. 그러나 전투를 수행하는 창끝 부대인 소부대 전투의 영역의 부대구조, 전투장비의 부분에서 변화를 큰 두각을 드러내지 못하고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 기존에 많은 연구가 이루어지고 발전모델이 되고 있는 미군과 함께 총 두 차례의 세계대전과 6·25전쟁, 이후 다양한 현대전에 연합군으로 전투병력을 파병한 영국군의 창끝부대 부대구조, 물자, 장비 등을 토대로 싸우는 개념을 연구하여 한국군 소부대에 발전 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

Through a military innovation called Army-TIGER, the Korean Army is currently seeling to innovate a combat system that can increase the ability of enemy, decides first, and strikes first. It is the concept of winning battle with fatality and asymmetry through a combined manned and unmanned combat system. However, changes in the unit structure and combat equipment in the domain of small-scale combat, which are spear-tipped units that perform combat, have not been highlighted. To improve this, I would like to study the concept of fighting based on the structure, supplies, and equipment of the Spearhead unit of the British Army, which sent combat troops as coalition forces in a total of two World Wars, the Korean War, and various modern wars after this, and present the direction of development for small(Spearhead) Korean military units.
