경기도민의 지역생활 만족도에 미치는 영향요인 - 경기도 북부와 남부 지역의 비교를 중심으로

Factors Influencing Gyeonggi Province Residents' Community Satisfaction: A Focus on the Comparison Between the Northern and Southern Regions

본 연구의 목적은 경기도의 북부와 남부 지역의 주민을 대상으로 지역의 생활 만족도에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하는 것이다. 경기 분도에 관한 논의는 현재 사회적인 이슈 중의 하나이고, 선행연구에서 경기도의 지역 격차에 관한 연구가 있었으나 북부와 남부에 거주하는 지역주민의 주관적 인식에 관한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 분석을 위한 자료는 2022년의 경기도 사회조사를 활용하였고, 독립변수는 사회서비스 만족도(보건의료, 사회복지), 지역의 물리적 환경 만족도(자연환경, 안전환경), 공동체 의식 등으로 선정하였으며, 집단 간 차이분석, 회귀 분석 등의 통계 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 보건의료 서비스 만족도와 자연환경 만족도, 안전환경 만족도 등은 경기 북부와 남부 모두 지역생활 만족도에 영향을 주었으나, 사회복지 서비스 만족도와 공동체 의식 수준은 경기 남부 지역에만 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석을 통해 경기도 남부와 북부 지역의 차이를 확인하여 지역 특성에 맞는 정책개발을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the factors influencing community satisfaction among residents in the northern and southern regions of Gyeonggi Province. The independent variables include satisfaction with social services (healthcare, social welfare), satisfaction with the physical environment of the region (natural environment, safety environment), and sense of community. Discussions about the division of Gyeonggi Province have recently become a significant social issue. Although previous studies have examined regional disparities within Gyeonggi Province, there is limited research on the subjective perceptions of residents in the northern and southern regions. Data for the analysis were drawn from the 2022 Gyeonggi Province Social Survey, and statistical analyses such as group difference analysis and regression analysis were conducted. The results show that satisfaction with healthcare services, the natural environment, and the safety environment influenced community satisfaction in both the northern and southern regions. However, satisfaction with social welfare services and the level of sense of community were found to significantly affect only the southern region. Based on these findings, this paper suggests the development of policies tailored to the specific characteristics of the northern and southern regions of Gyeonggi Province.
