워킹맘의 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울의 관계: 마음챙김으로 조절된 일-가정 갈등의 매개효과

The Relationship Between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and Depression Among Working Mothers: The Mediating Effects of Work-Family Conflict Moderated by Mindfulness

목적 본 연구는 워킹맘의 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울 간의 관계를 일-가정 갈등이 매개하는지, 그리고 이러한 매개효과를 마음챙김이 조절하는지를 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 본 연구를 위해 2022년 1월 6일부터 2022년 1월 13일까지 전국에 거주하는 20~50대의 워킹맘을 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사 링크를 배포 및 실시하여 312개의 응답을 수집하였고 결과를 분석하기 위해 SPSS 26.0과 Process Macro 3.0을 사용하였다. 결과 연구분석 결과 워킹맘의 사회부과 완벽주의, 우울, 일-가정 갈등, 마음챙김은 유의한 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 워킹맘의 사회부과 완벽주의와 우울의 관계를 일-가정 갈등이 매개하는 것으로 나타났으며 일-가정 갈등과 우울의 관계가 마음챙김의 수준에 따라 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 워킹맘의 사회부과 완벽주의가 일-가정 갈등을 통해 우울에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 마음챙김의 조절된 매개효과를 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 사회부과 완벽주의 경향으로 인해 일-가정 갈등을 경험하고 그 결과 우울을 경험하는 워킹맘을 대상으로 마음챙김 기반의 개입이 효과적일 수 있음을 시사한다.

Objectives This study is to verify whether work-family conflict could mediate the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and depression of working mothers and mindfulness would moderate the mediating effects. Methods It collected 312 surveys, focusing on working mothers in their 20s to 50s in Korea. It used SPSS 26.0 and Process Macro 3.0 for its analysis. Results First, this study found that there is a significant correlation among socially prescribed perfectionism, depression, work-family conflict, and mindfulness of working mothers. Second, it found that work-family conflict could have mediating effects on the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and depression of working mothers. Third, it found that mindfulness could have moderating effects in the relationship between work-family conflict and mindfulness. Fourth, mindfulness could have moderated mediating effects in the procedure that socially prescribed perfectionism affects depression of working mothers. Conclusions This study focusing on working mothers verified the moderating effects of mindfulness on the procedure that personal characteristic of perfectionism causing various psychological problems leads to depression through the work-family conflict as a medium.
