This study examines effective educational strategies for teaching Arabic interpretation and translation at the undergraduate level, focusing on fourth-year students enrolled in the “Introduction to Arabic Interpretation and Translation” course. A survey was conducted to evaluate student needs, learning objectives, and overall satisfaction with the course. The results revealed that students aim to develop foundational translation skills, sequential interpretation techniques, and memory enhancement for interpretation tasks. In conclusion, Arabic interpretation and translation education should emphasize holistic language skill development, seamlessly integrate practical exercises with theoretical knowledge, and foster a collaborative learning environment through constructive feedback from peers and instructors. Such an approach is essential for enhancing student engagement, proficiency, and confidence in the field.
