Promoting the life-oriented approach to ideological and political education in universities during the New Era constitutes a pivotal initiative to enhance the practical effectiveness of such education, ensuring its profound internalization within students’ hearts and minds. Theoretical foundations for this life-oriented paradigm are laid by Marxist humanistic theory, Tao Xingzhi’ Life Education Theory, and the educational philosophy rooted in China’s excellent traditional culture. The New Era demands a multifaceted interpretation of life-oriented ideological education in universities. This approach requires that educational objectives, content, and methods be both “derived from real-life experiences” and “return to serve life practices”, thereby embodying distinctive characteristics that combine guiding principles with practical applicability, theoretical rigor with contextual sensitivity and methodological diversity with hands-on implementation. To deepen this life-oriented transformation, comprehensive strategies should be implemented throughout the educational process: focus on the whole process of ideological and political education and innovate educational ideas to cultivate a life-centered educational philosophy; optimize the curriculum ad integrate authentic life elements into course design; Explore teaching methods adn develop immersive life-based teaching scenarios; foster a campus culture imbued with life vitality.
新时代推进高校思想政治教育生活化是提升思想政治教育实效性的关键举措,推动思想政治教育在高校学生的心中、脑中落地发芽。马克思主义人学理论、陶行知生活教育理论、中华优秀传统文化教育思想为高校思想政治教育生活化铺就了理论基础。新时代高校思想政治教育生活化内涵丰富,促使思想政治教育育人目标、育人内容和育人方法既“源于生活”、又“回归生活”,体现出独特的导向性与实用性相结合、理论性与情境性相结合、多样性与实践性相结合的鲜明特质。新时代深入推进高校思想政治教育生活化,应当着眼思想政治教育的全过程,创新教育理念,树立生活本位意识;优化课程设置,融入生活元素;探索教学方法,构建生活情境;加强校园文化建设,营造生活气息。
