PEO의 전기적 성질에 미치는 TiO₂ 첨가 효과

Effect of TiO nanosheet addition on the electrical property of Poly(ethylene oxide) solid electrolyte

DOI : 10.31613/ceramist.2024.00171

Polyethylene oxide (PEO) gained attention as a solid electrolyte for next-generation lithium batteries due to its flexibility, broad electrochemical potential window. But the ionic-conductivity of the polymer electrolyte remains lower than other solid electrolytes, and the main reason that causes the poor ionic transportation of electrolyte is reported as the high crystalline degree that PEO get. To enhance, this paper used ultra-thin 2D TiO₂ nanosheets as a filer, distinct from traditional 3D fillers, prepared a PEO-TiO₂ composite through tape casting and hot pressing. Crystal and microstructural analyses via X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, along with electrical properties evaluated by 2-probe AC impedance. This study demonstrates the influence of 2D TiO₂ nanosheets on PEO’s electrical properties, offering insights for future solid-state electrolyte design.
