This study examines the effects of coffee consumption on physical health, analyzing both its benefits and risks through a comprehensive literature review. Coffee, one of the most widely consumed beverages globally, is known to have potential health benefits, particularly in relation to cardiovascular health, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases. Moderate coffee intake has been associated with reduced risks of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cognitive decline. However, excessive caffeine consumption can lead to negative side effects, such as insomnia, anxiety, and digestive issues, with variations in impact depending on individual genetic factors and health conditions. This research emphasizes the importance of a personalized approach to coffee consumption, recommending a daily caffeine intake below 400 mg as a general guideline. The study contributes to a balanced understanding of coffee's health implications and underscores the need for further research into the effects of coffee's various components on individual health.
