AI 디지털교과서의 교육적 활용에 대한 특수교사 인식 분석

An Analysis of Special Education Teachers’ Perception regarding the Educational Use of AI Digital Textbooks

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 본 연구는 AI 디지털교과서 활용에 대한 특수교사의 인식을 탐색 하여 AI 디지털교과서가 효율적으로 활용되기 위한 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 전국 특수학교 및 특수학급에서 근무하는 특수교사 108명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문 항목은 AI 디지털교과서에 대한 인식, 활용 효과, 고려 요소의 4개 영역으로 구성되었다. 특히, 의미변별척도(Semantic Differential Scale)를 사용하여 AI 디지털교과서와 기존 교수 학습 방식 간의 인식 차이를 측정하였다. 연구결과: 특수교사는 AI 디지털교과서 활용 교육이 기존의 전통 적인 교육 방식과 비교하여 긍정적인 기대를 가지고 있었다. 또한, 특수교사는 AI 디지털교과서 가 체계적으로 사전 진단이 가능하여 맞춤형 학습을 지원하는 수업 보조 도구로서 효과적일 것으 로 생각하고 있었다. AI 디지털교과서의 효과적인 활용을 위해서는 첫째, 수업 집중 저하 혹은 주의 분산을 예방하고, 둘째, 질적으로 우수한 AI 디지털교과서 콘텐츠 설계와 개발이 필요하고, 셋째, 교사의 AI 디지털교과서에 대한 전반적인 이해가 요구되는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 특수교 육 현장에서 AI 디지털교과서를 보다 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 기술적 지원 체계 강화와 교사 역량 강화를 위한 체계적인 연수가 필요하다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the perceptions of special education teachers regarding the use of AI digital textbooks in special education. In doing so, the study seeks to understand the impact of AI digital textbooks on special education and to explore the challenges and needs experienced by teachers. Method: A survey was administered to 108 special education teachers working in special schools and classes across the country. The survey consisted of four sections, including perceptions of AI digital textbooks, their effectiveness, and barriers to their use. A Semantic Differential Scale was used to measure the perceived differences between AI digital textbooks and traditional teaching methods. Results: The survey results showed that special education teachers perceived a difference between AI digital textbooks and traditional teaching methods in 18 out of 21 items measured by the Semantic Differential Scale. While many teachers expected AI digital textbooks to positively contribute to personalized instruction and student engagement, they also expressed concerns about unfamiliarity with the technology and potential technical issues. Conclusion: To effectively use AI digital textbooks in special education, it is essential to strengthen technical support systems and provide systematic training to enhance the competency of teachers.
