This study investigates the reemployment experiences, challenges, coping strategies, and outcomes of women with career interruptions who successfully returned to the tourism industry. Using a grounded theory approach, the research examines their career adaptation process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 17 participants reemployed in the tourism industry for over a year, conducted between March and May 2024. The analysis employed grounded theory methods, including open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. Open coding identified 105 concepts and 38 subcategories related to career adaptation. Axial coding organized these categories into phenomena, causal conditions, contextual factors, moderating factors, interaction strategies, and outcomes, analyzing their interrelationships. The study developed a paradigm model of the career adaptation process for these women, which was further schematized and classified into distinct types. The findings highlight key factors supporting successful reemployment and professional integration and conclude with a discussion on sustaining reemployment in the tourism industry.
