This study aims to evaluate the impact of export support programs on the growth of agri-food exports, considering budgetary characteristics and identifying both short-term and long-term effects. Using a dynamic panel data model, we analyze Korean agri-food export data, with export volume as the dependent variable and the export support program budget as the key explanatory variable. The results show that a 1% increase in the total export support program budget leads to a 0.197% increase in agri-food exports in the short term and a 0.287% increase in the long term. The breakdown of the export support program budget by budgetary category reveals that budgetary inputs for consumption and soft infrastructure projects are just as effective in boosting agri-food export value as budgetary inputs for production and distribution projects.
