한독의약박물관 소장 醫監規例의 구성과 내용적 가치

『醫監規例』는 전의감에서 편찬하였으리라 여겨지는 문헌으로, 현재 한독의약박물관 소장본이 유일하다. 해당 문헌에는 1808년부터 1881년까지 19세기 전의감을 중심으로 오고간 문서가 수록되어 있으며, 新等第廳 설립 이후 전의감 업무에 참고할만한 문서들을 등사한 것으로 여겨진다. 해당 문헌은 기록된 흔적을 보아 19세기 중반 처음 작성된 뒤, 후대에 추기된 것으로 여겨진다. 『의감규례』에 수록된 내용을 검토한 결과, 신등제청 설립 이후 전의감의 여러 규정과 활동, 당시 전의감 관원들의 요청 등을 살펴볼 수 있어, 차후 전의감 관련 연구에 참조될 필요가 있다.

The Uigam-gyu-rye(醫監規例) is a document believed to have been compiled by the Jeon-uigam(典醫監, Office of Medical Affairs in Joseon dynasty), with the only known copy currently held by the Handok-museum. This document contains records of correspondence primarily involving the Jeon-uigam from 1808 to 1881. It is thought to include documents that served as references for the Jeon-uigam’s operations following the establishment of the Sindeungje-cheong(新等第廳, Government office belonging to Jeon-uigam during the Joseon Dynasty). This document, based on recorded evidence, is believed to have been initially compiled in the mid-19th century, with later additions. Upon reviewing the contents of the Uigam-gyu-rye, it provides insights into various regulations and activities of the Jeon-uigam after the establishment of the Sindeungje-cheong, as well as requests made by officials of the Jeon-uigam at that time. Therefore, it should be referenced in future studies related to the Jeon-uigam.
