Validation of the Korean Version of the Contemporary Critical Consciousness Measure-Short (K-CCCM-S)

목적 본 연구는 다문화 교육을 받은 상담사를 대상으로 한국판 현대 비판적 의식 척도(Korean Version of the Contemporary Critical Consciousness Measure-Short: K-CCCM-S; Shin et al., 2023) 타당화를 검증하였다. 방법 다문화 교육을 받은 적이 있고 다문화 상담 경험이 있는 상담사 379명을 대상으로 한국판 현대 비판적 의식 단축형 척도, 한국판 미묘한 인종차별 용인 척도, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음, 계층차별주의 태도 척도, 사회적 바람직성 척도를 온라인 설문을 실시하고 신뢰도와 타당도를 살펴보고 요인 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 탐색적 요인 분석을 통해 4개의 하위 요인을 확인하였고 확인적 요인 분석을 실시하여 19문항을 추출하였다. 요인분석을 마친 19개의 문항의 타당도 확인을 위해 한국판 미묘한 인종차별 용인 척도, 정당한 세상에 대한 믿음, 계층차별주의 태도 척도, 사회적 바람직성 척도와의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 결론 K-CCCM-S의 타당도는 양호하였고 유사 변인들간의 유의한 상관관계를 확인하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계점을 논의하였다.

Objectives This study validated the Korean Version of the Contemporary Critical Consciousness Measure-Short (K-CCCM-S) with counselors who have learned multicultural counseling. Methods 379 counselors who had received multicultural education and had multicultural counseling experience were surveyed online using the Critical Consciousness Scale, the Korean version of Acceptability of Racial Microaggressions Scale, the Belief in a Just World, Korean version of Classism Aattitude Scale, and the Social Desirability Scale. Reliability and validity were examined and factor analysis was conducted. Results Exploratory factor analysis identified four subfactors and confirmatory factor analysis was performed to extract 19 items. To confirm the validity of the 19 items that completed factor analysis, correlations with the Korean version of Acceptability of Racial Microaggressions Scale, the Belief in a Just World, Korean version of Classism Aattitude Scale, and the Social Desirability Scale were analyzed. Conclusions The construct validity of the K-CCCM-S was good, and significant correlations between similar variables were confirmed. Finally, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
